Reimbursement of costs for medical outpatient and inpatient treatment and medication in the event of acute illness during a trip abroad. Cover also includes the cost of dental treatment to alleviate acute pain.

Cover provides for the reimbursement of the costs of obtaining replacement travel documents (air ticket, traveller’s cheques, passport, driving licence, credit cards, etc.) following theft, robbery or which have otherwise gone astray. In the event of loss of cash, a loan is granted up to an amount individually agreed.

Reimbursement of contractually agreed cancellation costs if a trip cannot be made due to special circumstances (serious, unexpected illness, death of kin, etc.). Cover also includes the additional costs of interrupting a trip for the above reasons.

Reimbursement of costs for any medically necessary repatriation by doctor’s order or for the repatriation of a deceased body in the event of death from abroad to the insured party’s home country. We can also offer you an arrangement for the reimbursement of costs for travel inside Germany (domestic return transport insurance).

Insurance cover is provided for the duration of a trip for the event that a third party should claim damages from the insured person. The insurance relates to the statutory liability of the insured person as a private individual and settles claims for damaging events which have resulted in the death or injury or damaged the health of people (personal injury) or in the damage or destruction of property (loss of property).
